New Fischer Identity Suite™ 2.0 is the Only Standards-Based, Holistic, Identity Management Solution Built for Compliance

Naples, FL (May 23, 2005) -- Fischer International, thought leaders in Identity Management, today announced the immediate availability of Fischer Identity Suite™ 2.0, a new holistic, next-generation architecture with compliance organically incorporated throughout. Fischer International is the only company to create a completely new Identity Management architecture built after 9/11 and the advent of Sarbanes-Oxley, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and HIPAA. The result is the new industry standard for Identity Management best practices, enabling organizations to manage more risk with far greater security yet much less effort.

Most Identity Management solutions are being bolted together by vendors that have acquired a variety of technologies in an attempt to meet market needs. As a result, such competitive products are costly and cumbersome to deploy. Fischer’s next-generation architecture was developed from the ground up and is based on industry standards, such as Java and XML. Fischer Identity Suite 2.0 incorporates a common set of services into one comprehensive solution, so that integration is focused on bringing together enterprise applications and resources, not disparate Identity Management technologies.

With built-in compliance and ease of connectivity, Fischer Identity Suite 2.0 enables enterprise Identity Management events to be recorded and audited as part of everyday business processes. Compliance can now be incorporated with other business processes, further leveraging the Identity Management investment and driving down costs. To further reduce costs, compliance is a core element of the Fischer architecture, and is provided without additional charge.

“Compliance is part of everyday business, and must be part of the DNA in any Identity Management solution. No security solution is complete without it,” said Reneé Bacherman, President and CEO of Fischer International. “Products that add compliance as an afterthought can’t deliver the value businesses need. Because compliance is part of our architecture, our customers reap the benefits compliance brings, including cost containment, improved internal controls, better risk management and increased operating efficiency – all leading to an improved bottom line.”

The new Fischer Identity Suite 2.0 has substantial benefits over comparable solutions available today, including:

  • Full deployment time that is orders of magnitude less than other products.
  • Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return On Investment (ROI) that are significantly improved over conventional Identity Management solutions.
  • Robust audit and reporting capabilities
  • Real-time Separation of Duties enforcement.
  • The Fischer Compliance Load Mode (sm) that enables organizations to benchmark compliance, remediate, and begin implementation with a compliant identity store.
  • Extensive connectivity capabilities to add new systems quickly and easily.
  • Simplified data migration, transformation, and synchronization.
  • A business policy and workflow tool that eliminates the need for scripting and programming. Fischer has a point and click operation.
  • A common platform for all Identity Management technologies: compliance, provisioning, password management, self service.

At the core of the new Fischer Identity Suite 2.0 is DataForum™, a standards-based provisioning, approval and compliance engine. It provides integration technology that incorporates audit and compliance organically throughout the architecture. Now, organizations can open their enterprises to an extended constituency while safeguarding security and maintaining compliance.

“Rather than rush to market, Fischer took the time to create an architecture that would satisfy existing and future Identity Management requirements, whether known or unknown,” continued Reneé Bacherman. “With its open standards, easy connectivity and audit and compliance architecture, today Fischer is introducing the new standard in Identity Management.”
