Press Release
ROUNDY’S SUPERMARKETS SELECTS FISCHER INTERNATIONAL
FOR IDENTITY MANAGEMENT
Will Leverage Fischer’s Out-of-the-Box Compliance Capabilities
to Automate the Identity-Related Requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley
Naples, FL (January 30, 2006) -- Fischer International,
thought leaders in Identity Management, today announced that
it has been chosen by Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. to provide
an Identity Management solution that includes compliance, password
management, automated provisioning, and user self service.
“Automating identity-related compliance is an important
business objective for Roundy’s, and we were looking for
a solution that could enforce compliance policies end-to-end
and easily integrate across many systems,” said Fred Lunde,
Director, IT Governance for Roundy’s Supermarkets. “With
Fischer’s help, Roundy's will benefit from continuous
compliance, decreased cost and reduced complexity. We will be
able to take advantage of new opportunities and services while
addressing a variety of business challenges using our own internal
resources.”
Fischer's Identity Suite provides compliance capabilities as
a core architectural component, and at no additional cost. Self-deployment
and ease-of-use are also key attributes of the Fischer Identify
Suite, as it is the only Identity Management solution that is
built as an integration technology and entirely eliminates programming
and scripting. Fischer Identity Suite 2.0’s out-of-the-box
functionality and standards-based architecture provides a different
approach from competitors’ cobbled-together products that
incorporate several solutions.
“As a result of our next-generation Identity Management
architecture, Fischer Identify Suite 2.0 is faster to deploy,
easier to use, and costs significantly less than competitive
products,” said Reneé Bacherman, President and
CEO, Fischer International. “We have built the industry’s
only completely new Identity Management suite, one that is holistic,
standards-based and can incorporate new requirements as design
elements rather than additional applications or modules. Compliance
is one great example of a requirement that became a design feature
of our solution, one which we provide at no additional cost."
